Recurring deadlines the firm’s book uses most. This is not a live calendar and does not cover every state. When a date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, the next business day applies.

The firm confirms the observed date in your year. Holidays (including Washington, D.C. rules in April) can move Form 1040. This table shows the statutory date.

    Individual and business

    Individual 1040-ES — and, when LLC profit feeds the owner, the estimate conversation as well.

  2. 31JanStatutory date

    W-2 and 1099-NEC

    Business

    The business files and furnishes W-2 and 1099-NEC. If you are only the individual, this deadline belongs to the payer — you keep the copy and send it through the Drake Tax Portal when it arrives.

    Partnership and S corp

    Business

    1065 and 1120-S. Anyone who needs more time talks with the firm about an extension — the extended date shows on 15 Sep.

    Form 1040, Q1 estimate, FBAR, 1120, and Form 5472

    Individual and business

    The fullest marker of the year. Not every item applies to everyone: the firm says which are yours. LLC with a foreign owner: Form 5472 belongs in this conversation.

    Q2 estimate and the foreign extension

    Individual and business

    Q2 1040-ES. Many people who live outside the US have an automatic Form 1040 extension — it is not universal; the firm confirms.
